Sometimes you need to relax deeply so that your body can heal and replenish itself. In that case a full session of 5 Point Embodiment is appropriate because it is a powerful catalyst to healing. 5 Point Embodiment Therapy is a Suddhi Yoga Therapy technique that emphasizes hands-on-healing in a well supported variation of yoga’s relaxation pose – Shavasana. Shavasana is the pose where the most muscles in your body can relax deepening your body’s innate ability to heal itself.
The therapist moves through a process of supporting five different points on the client’s body where the muscles are the tightest to facilitate your body’s ability to deeply relax. 5 Point Embodiment Therapy releases tensions in the tightest muscles in your body and from there a powerful domino effect takes place – tensions in other muscles begin to unwind; pressure on your skeletal structure is reduced; and emotional/mental stresses ease.
